The board meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor of Kostanay region Bekturganov S.Ch., directors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Education and Science, members of the board, staff of the department of education, heads of education offices of districts and towns, directors of regional educational organizations, colleges, high schools, secondary schools and media representatives. 175 people in total.
In accordance with the priorities designated by the Head of State Nazarbayev N.A. in his Message to the people of Kazakhstan three questions have been put on agenda.
The deputy head of the department of education Shevtsov V.M. made a report on “Objectives of technical and vocational education in 2012”.
The head of special, additional education and educational work Baimenova Z.A. reported "On the work of education offices of Auliekol, Sarykol, Uzunkol districts to expand the network and improve the quality of further education".
The head of the organizational and administrative division Mendekinova G.E. covered "The organization of professional adaptation of young professionals in the education system of Kostanay, Mendykara districts".
Following the meeting, decisions of the board with specific tasks and assignments for 2012 were accepted.
At the end of the meeting, the Board awarded state awards and the winners and nominees of various competitions.
Breast Badge "Honoured worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was given to the director of the boarding school for gifted children Kairova S.B.
Diploma of the winner of the Republican contest "Bilim uyasy" in the "Best Manager of Education - 2011" nomination was awarded the head of Lisakovsk Office of Education Burdyko E.A.
Bronze medal of the 2nd International Children's Painting Competition in Saudi Arabia was given to a graduate of Rudniy art school Alenov Alzhan.
In the ranking of the offices of education 2011 the best offices of education became Lisakovsk, Karasu, Sarykol districrs, ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively. In the category "High level of professional work of teachers" the best was Rudniy office of Education, in the category "High school students’ self-determination" - Uzunkol district and in the category "High level of skills for self-learners" – Zhitikara district.
In addition, the board summarized the regional competition "The Best Ice Town - 2011" among the regional education institutions. Diplomas were awarded to Kostanay regional Children’s home, Sarykol College of agrobusiness and law, and Preschool Children's Home, ranked 1, 2, 3 places respectively.
